Niche-regulation of stem cell behaviors

The goal of our lab is to understand how the behaviors of multiple, distinct stem cell populations are coordinated by their specialized niche. Using the Drosophila testis as a model system, we have combined live imaging of stem cell dynamics and genetic manipulations to identify cytokinesis as a key node of stem cell control.
